Thank you for helping Delaware’s spellers shine!
On March 7, 2026, Delaware’s top young spellers took the stage at Delaware Technical Community College for the 2026 Delaware Regional Spelling Bee. With 57 students competing and more than 300 attendees in the audience, the event became a powerful celebration of academic excellence across the state.
The program opened with remarks from Governor Matt Meyer, Lt. Governor Kyle Evans Gay, Secretary of Education Cindy Marten, and other state leaders who joined educators, families, and community members to support Delaware students.
